How to Play the Mustang in Rock Band 3
The newest edition of the Rock Band franchise features some of the most cutting edges controllers in the history of gaming. The reason for this is the fact that they actively allow an individual to learn how to play a musical instrument. The most sought after devices are the Squier Stratocaster and the Mad Catz Mustang. Between the two controllers one of them, the Squier, is a real guitar. The other, the Mustang, is a guitar simulating controller so well designed that every note or chord that a true guitar might illicit has been duplicated via its one hundred two buttons.
The Mustang is an ambitious controller designed for use with the pro mode of free Rock Band 3. This well appointed controller allows the player to learn real life guitar playing skills and greatly increases the difficulty level of game play. Playing the game via this controller is an exercise in patience. This is not due to its design. The need to be patient is due to the fact that this controller changes the game play mechanics so much that people have to relearn the basic play concepts. There are no longer a handful of colored buttons to work with. Now the player must actually play the notes and chords of the song.
Playing the Mustang controller begins with learning the basics. The free Rock Band 3 screen changes in pro mode. This change incorporates a new system of visual cues designed to work with a pro controller. The chord letter will appear to the left of the fret board while the colored notes two play the chord will stream down the musical highway. There are raised numbers indicating how far from the anchoring finger the series of notes and the chord will be.
When an individual chooses to play the game with the Mustang they must strum the individual strings like a real guitar while pressing the appropriate buttons on the fret board to produce a note or chord. This is no simple task even on easy difficulty. Due to this fact and public demand there are no extraneous notes in pro mode. Whatever the song demands will be required of the player. The end result is that mastering a song on expert difficulty level on pro mode will allow the player to actually learn to play the song at a professional level.
The only draw backs for this controller are the fact that it is not designed to be used outside of game play like the Squier. The usage of buttons might throw off experienced guitarists as well. However, the pluses for this controller outweigh those minuses. This guitar is lower in price than the Squier. It is designed to be a controller and does not confuse itself with a real guitar. Many guitarists that already own their own beloved instrument will prefer this controller since they may not desire to purchase a 'lesser' guitar than what they own. Another noteworthy factor is that the Mustang looks pretty badass. The silver buttons running down the length of its neck make it look like a mad scientists experiment went incredibly right. There is nothing else on the market like it and people adore that which is unique.

Fender Stratocaster $33.29 Leo Fender produced his first Fender Stratocaster guitar in California in 1954. It featured a striking two-tone sunburst finish, with its ash wood grain body, selected for its appearance as well as tonal and lasting qualities, and a neck made of one piece of solid maple, together with the drop-in assembly of the electronics. From 1950s rock 'n' roll through to 1970s punk and 1990s funk, it has played a constant and vital role in the development of music through the latter part of the 20th century and into the 21st. This book traces the history of the Stratocaster and the way in which it developed in countries such as Japan and the UK, as well as its native U.S. Topics covered include Stratocasters from the 1950s to the present, the influence of Jimi Hendrix, modern alternatives to vintage Stratocasters, notable recordings, and common alterations. |

SoesdykeLinden Highway $70.1 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles The SoesdykeLinden Highway is a 44mile long 2lane highway that runs between Soesdyke and Linden in Guyana. The highway was constructed between 1966 and 1968. The highway was rehabilitated in 19971999 by overlaying the stretch between Soesdyke and Kuru Kuru with asphaltic concrete and sealing the rest with a thin coat of asphalt and fine aggregate. The superstructures of the bridges, which were of greenheart, were reconstructed with reinforced concrete to a higher standard of live load. The Soesdyke Linden Highway was constructed as one phase of a highway connecting Georgetown with Lethem. Author: Surhone, Lambert M./ Tennoe, Mariam T./ Henssonow, Susan F. Highway to Hell $13.07 Released in 1979, AC/DC's "Highway To Hell" was the infamous last album recorded with singer Bon Scott, who died of alcohol poisoning in London in February of 1980. Officially chalked up to "Death by Misadventure," Scott's demise has forever secured the album's reputation as a partying primer and a bible for lethal behavior, branding the album with the fun chaos of alcoholic excess and its flip side, early death. The best songs on "Highway To Hell" achieve Sonic Platonism, translating rock &roll's transcendent ideals in stomping, dual-guitar and eighth-note bass riffing, a Paleolithic drum bed, and insanely, recklessly odd but fun vocals. Joe Bonomo strikes a three-chord essay on the power of adolescence, the durability of rock &roll fandom, and the transformative properties of memory. Why does "Highway To Hell" matter to anyone beyond non-ironic teenagers? Blending interviews, analysis, and memoir with a fan's perspective, "Highway To Hell" dramatizes and celebrates a timeless album that one critic said makes "disaster sound like the best fun in the world." |

Canning Highway $81.25 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Canning Highway is a mostly 4 lane single carriageway major arterial road in Perth, Western Australia. The speed limit is 60 km/h. It is located south of the Swan River and links Perth with Fremantle, running between The Causeway in Victoria Park and Queen Victoria Street in Fremantle. Canning Highway is named for Alfred Canning, a pioneer West Australian pastoralist and late 19th century settler in the area that is now part of the City of Melville. The modern highway was formally commenced in the 1920s, with major work commencing in 1927 to upgrade an 8mile (13 km) section between Suburban Street, South Perth and Petra Street, East Fremantle. In 1938, the present northern bridge over Canning River was opened. It was 32 feet (9.8 m) wide and constructed of timber, as was then common practice. The experience gained building this bridge was used to construct the Fremantle Traffic Bridge over the Swan River one year later. The Fremantle Traffic Bridge joined Canning Highway near Fremantle with North Fremantle, and this intersection forms the highways present western terminus. Hell's Highway $3.95 "With sharp insights into history, combat, and human nature, this enthralling novel can stand beside even the best chronicles of that fabled 'band of brothers.' " -Ralph Peters, author of Wars of Blood and Faith It's 1944, and the German war machine is on its heels but still lethal, while the Allies pry the Netherlands from the Nazis' grasp. Operation Market Garden will be spearheaded by the 101st Airborne Screaming Eagles. But if you're one man in one corner of this battle, it's a plunge into chaos-at a place called "Hell's Highway." Sergeant Matt Baker is a recon leader from the 101st, in charge of a team of Brits, Americans, and Dutch resistance fighters sent on a desperate reconnaissance mission. For Baker, every step behind enemy lines means dozens of critical choices, firefights that explode out of nowhere, and facing down one ruthless German who knows his war is lost- and who is as fierce as he is brilliant. To both men, it's a battle to get out of hell alive. From the struggles of the men and women of the Dutch resistance to a pitched fight for one critical bridge, Hell's Highway is the suspense-packed, surprise-filled version of the bestselling video game-and an intense epic journey into the true nature of war. |

Highway 12 $15.5 Highway 12 is undoubtedly one of not only America's but the world's most scenic highways. From its intersection on the west with Highway 89 south of Panguitch, Utah, it runs up through Red Canyon onto the Paunsagunt Plateau and across Bryce Canyon National Park. It then drops into the Paria River Valley, passes through several tiny villages, crosses some extraordinary (for anywhere but this region) badlands, and descends the Escalante River into Potato Valley. While a driver may justifiably feel she has seen some scenery by that point, the highway is just getting started, for in the next stretch, it crosses a labyrinth of multicolored sandstone humps and corridors, climaxed by a narrow hogback with steep slickrock drops to each side, all within Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. Reaching the oasis of Boulder within this desert of rock, the road then climbs across the flank of the Aquarius Plateau, providing spectacular vistas and terminating at the gateway to Capitol Reef National Park. Along the way side roads and trails access the vast wilderness of the Paria and Escalante Rivers and the high plateaus they drain. Congress acknowledged the unequaled splendor of Highway 12 by designating it one of a handful of All-American Roads. To travel with Christian Probasco this road and its spurs, which lead deep into some of the wildest, most broken-up and stunning landscapes anywhere, can put a unique twist on an already singular experience. He knows the region as well as anyone and brings an original, edgy, youthful view to it. His opinions and his language may challenge you. His approaches to and perspectives on the land may sometimes surprise you. His understanding of the area's history and its people will likely teach you a thing or two. |
