It fits into standard Stratocaster body routs without modification to the guitar. Like all other Joe Barden double-blade designs, this pickup gives you vintage tone but with greater articulation, punch, clarity and dead quiet operation. The characteristic in-between sounds of the Strat are preserved.The tone of the S-Deluxe is absolutely Strat in character, but with greatly expanded fidelity and a balanced frequency response. Of course, hum and noise are completely eliminated.
